Asbestos Removal

Asbestos Removal

Until the 1970s, asbestos was specified extensively for building and industrial applications. Today, it is a widely known fact that human exposure to asbestos fibers can, over time, be hazardous if not lethal. For this reason, asbestos is rarely utilized in modern day products and processes.

Similarly, asbestos abatement and removal procedures must also conform to strict regulatory guidelines due to the hazardous nature of airborne asbestos fibers. Many rigorous safety measures have been enacted by various local, municipal, state and federal agencies and legislatures to ensure that asbestos materials are consistently removed without risk to human health and safety.

How Yankee Fiber Removes Asbestos Quickly And Safely.

Removing asbestos materials is an extremely methodical, tedious and serious undertaking. Yankee Fiber Control has the proven expertise, technology and trained technicians to remove asbestos from commercial, industrial, institutional, residential or other facilities or structures while strictly observing all mandated safety measures. Yet, we are experienced enough to move quickly - causing minimal disruption in operations and restoring formerly contained areas to productive use within your schedule needs.

Contained Asbestos Removal Using Specialized HEPA-Filter Negative-Pressure Technology.

Using advanced diesel-powered HEPA-filtered vacuum technology we can remove up to 18 tons of asbestos waste an hour. The process is performed in a fully contained negative-pressure environment that releases no asbestos fibers into the air.

This highly specialized and efficient technology allows us to handle very large asbestos abatement projects safely and with fewer people and less man-hours, minimizing your project costs and getting you up and running quicker.

Also, using our low-volume, up to 40,000 psi UHP water jetting system in conjunction with contained HEPA-filtered vacuum technology, we can handle virtually any asbestos removal problem.

Removing Vinyl Asbestos Floor Tiles Intact.

Our automated TileLift equipment provides a cost-effective mechanical means of removing vinyl asbestos floor tiles. This system employs infrared/radiant heat to gently soften the tile and the mastic bonding agent underneath so that tiles peel off the floor completely intact. Since removal of intact vinyl asbestos tiles is not regulated, it can be performed without costly containment procedures and, depending on the state, without waiting for regulatory approval.
